Hattie grew up in a small town in the southeast corner of Minnesota on the Mississippi River. Both of her parents are artists, so creating art has always been an important part of her life. She always knew that she wanted to work with jewelry, so she decided to pursue an education in goldsmithing & gemology at the age of nineteen. She moved to California where she became both a certified jeweler & gemologist, as well as an avid beach goer.
